Business Development Coaching

For lawyers and CPAs, Business Development (BD) remains one of the most important drivers of revenue growth and long-term success. For some BD can seem terrifying. For others, it can also feel overwhelming, especially when you’re already juggling client demands, tight deadlines and chargeable targets. My role is to make BD practical, achievable and aligned with your real-world workload.  

My BD coaching isn’t built around a book, manual or proprietary ‘system’. There are many programs on the market – often bought because someone senior in a firm bought into a methodology requiring book or platform purchases that looked good but rarely fit every practice. My approach is different. It’s grounded in decades of frontline experience, both as a fee-earner and as a leader responsible for firm-wide revenue generation. 

I coach lawyers and CPAs across all firm sizes – regional and single-office firms, specialized boutiques, sole practices, and national and international firms.  

Each engagement is tailored. Together, we will: 

• Build practical BD habits that fit your workload and schedule 

• Identify realistic weekly actions 

• Enhance your profile 

• Strengthen your visibility with clients and contacts 

• Clarify who you should be meeting and why 

• Support your follow-through with accountability 

• Focus on actions that drive revenue generation  

At the conclusion of each session, we’ll set practical and achievable tasks for you to complete before we meet again.

In between coaching sessions, I am available for advice on specific actions or opportunities that arise.

I coach clients across Canada – in person (if desired) in Toronto or virtually anywhere else in the country.
