This national company’s business development and marketing team structure, management positioning and skill sets were not effectively meeting the needs of a new strategic plan.
We assessed the strategic plan and determined the talent and resource needs for it to be implemented effectively. We reviewed the marketing and business development functions which included in-depth interviews with all key non-marketing executives, service area heads, location heads and all members of the marketing and business development team. Our recommendations included restructuring functions at local, regional and national levels, and newly created positions.
As a result the company’s marketing and business development function has become effective and financial resources are wisely employed in servicing the needs of the internal and external customers and advanced the company’s strategic plan.
